Art Week Tokyo 2026: Kids’ Art Detective Walk & Workshop
Explore Tokyo museums and galleries with a children’s art kit and record discoveries. On Nov 7–8, children who have completed the walk can share their observations at a booked AWT BAR workshop.

- Families, primary-school children and youth; ages 6–9 require one guardian. Ages 10+ join the workshop without their guardian.

- Exploration and workshop are free; up to two participating children and one guardian may enter participating museums free under the stated conditions.

- No booking for limited daily exploration kits. Workshop requires lottery application (15 groups/session); official deadline Nov 2, with results expected Nov 3.

- The free AWT BUS runs Nov 6–8 only. Walk or arrange your own transport on Nov 4–5.
- Complete the art walk before the workshop. The self-guided exploration and kids’ stamp rally do not require registration.
- Self-guided exploration is mainly visual and relatively language-light; English facilitation at the workshop is unconfirmed.
