Editorial introduction
The Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre arts festival turns childcare itself into an art experience. With a maximum of seven children per session, children decide for themselves whether to make puppets, draw, create stories, make stage decorations, sing or dance. It is especially well suited to families where parents want to attend a performance while their children enjoy an independent art experience of their own. The activity is offered in Japanese only.

- Wheelchair participation is welcomed.
- Guide/service/hearing dogs can accompany visitors according to festival guidance.
- Japanese only is explicitly stated on the official English page, so this is a higher-language-dependency program.
