Editorial introduction

Listen to a short classical concert of around 20 minutes in Kodakarayu, the historic bathhouse at the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum. Children can attend from birth, and the short duration suits younger listeners. It takes place on the same day as the Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony, making it especially suitable for a family cultural outing combining tea, historic architecture and live music.

  • October 24: bassoon duo, and flute with koto. October 25: trombone with tuba, and a bowed-string duo. Four performances each day, approximately 20 minutes each.
