Editorial introduction
A small-group woodworking experience with just four participants per session. The focus is on making a wooden toy that really makes a sound, rather than a simple paper craft. Older primary-school children can use an electric scroll saw, while younger children can take charge of coloring and decorating. It works especially well as a more involved addition to an already-planned visit to the Tokyo Toy Museum.
