Additional fee notes

2026 reference: £1,675 (Approx. ¥349,000)/week residential or £995 (Approx. ¥207,000)/day-course week. Residential covers standard tuition, activities, meals, lodging and specified insurance/transfers. Academies, day-course extras, flights and parent lodging need separate budgeting.

What the days look like

17.5 hours weekly of language, storytelling and subject exploration, plus activities and trips. The 2026 day course ran 08:30–17:00, until 18:00 on Wednesdays; boarders also had evening and weekend activities.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Boarding includes school accommodation and meals. Day-course families arrange their own lodging. The 2026 residential fee included selected-airport transfers subject to conditions; check the airports and time windows.

Why it is in this guide

Selected because age, language level and tuition hours are explicit, and one centre lets families compare day attendance with residential study.

Who it may suit

Primary-age children who want English tuition and a structured school-day rhythm, with the attendance model matched to their independence.

What to weigh up

Consider carefully if independent family sightseeing is the main goal, or if a child is not ready to sleep away from parents.

Operating history and evidence

Recent independent family evidence for Eastbourne Little Explorers remains limited. Local Holiday Club, older Lancing students and year-round school reviews were excluded. A 2017 agency visit is too old to establish current experience.

Before you book

Confirm the next season, day or boarding space, age cut-off and transfer conditions. Discuss support needs with the school before booking.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms have not been verified here. Obtain the terms for your chosen dates in writing before paying.
