What the days look like
Sample weekday: child five 45-minute one-to-one classes plus optional activities; guardian three one-to-one classes and two selected group classes. Breakfast 07:00–08:00, lunch 12:05–13:05, dinner 18:00–19:00; free/self-study periods require parental planning.
Parents, accommodation and transport
Shared campus double/triple/quad rooms, with standard and pool-access choices. Check-in Saturday after 15:00 or Sunday; checkout Saturday before noon. Tokyo planning: route to Cebu and arrange Mactan transfer; confirm the La Mer address on the booking.
Why it is in this guide
A current, clearly priced family-study option with meaningful parent lessons and shorter stays available in the Japanese-market programme.
Who it may suit
For families wanting daily one-to-one lessons while a parent remains the child's main carer. A two-week off-peak stay can be compared fairly with the much busier peak season.
What to weigh up
La Mer is a newer campus, opened in 2025. An agency notice dated 22 January 2026 says family intake moved from the main campus to La Mer; old main-campus ages, curricula and reviews are not interchangeable.
Operating history and evidence
La Mer opened in 2025, so EV’s older Main-campus family reputation cannot be transferred to it. A September 2026 agency account found in further searching concerns a 16-year-old, not the primary-age family course. A detailed independent parent account for the current La Mer family package remains unverified; provider brochures and agent descriptions establish the offer, not its quality.
Before you book
Confirm parent-child occupancy, actual intake/room availability, lesson loss on holidays, study permits, electricity/laundry/transfer inclusions and any agent-specific fee. Do not assume a Korean four-week package is identical to the Japanese one-to-eight-week offer. One to eight weeks listed in Japanese 2027 family brochure.
Cancellation and refunds
Current school-branded 2027 brochure: cancellation/date change at least 29 days before travel has no fee; 14–28 days costs USD120/person; within 13 days USD500/person. No carryover or transfer of the family booking. Confirm agency charges and treatment after arrival.
