What the days look like
For 5–9s: 15 hours English each week; full days 09:00–16:00 include lunch, one half-day London outing and four activity afternoons. Half days finish 12:15. Older pupils follow a different 16:30 finish.
Parents, accommodation and transport
Under-12s need family accommodation arranged separately. Saturday trips leave from Regent's Park, even for Gloucester Gate children, and adult classes cost extra. From Tokyo, allow for a long-haul flight and London's daily commute.
Why it is in this guide
Clear age bands and published 2027 dates make it easy to plan a longer family stay. This is a comparison option with mixed independent feedback, not an unqualified top recommendation.
Who it may suit
Families seeking structured weekday English and London outings, with a parent staying locally for younger children.
What to weigh up
Ages 5–6 cannot use the longer June/late-August season for 7–9s. Some older reviews of the 5–9 course criticised learning depth and value, so ask for the proposed level and teaching plan.
Operating history and evidence
The provider reports 57 years' experience and publishes 2026/27 seasons. LanguageCourse.net's 17 verified-booking ratings average 3.9/5 and mix adult and junior courses; 2023 parent reviews of the 5–9 programme raised teaching/value concerns, while other junior feedback is positive. The provider's higher Google-review claims are not an independent quality finding.

Ages 5–9: limited conversation practice
A parent praised kind staff and the surroundings but felt the beginner class lacked conversation and practical everyday English.
Verified booking on a commercial platform; an individual 2023 experience, not proof of current classes or staffing.
Read the sourceBefore you book
Confirm the age-specific campus and dates, real teaching-level group, current parent feedback and accommodation commute. Do not infer five-year-old eligibility from the Regent's University name. The minimum stay is one week, with starts any Monday during the relevant age group's season and two or more weeks combinable.
Cancellation and refunds
2027 terms: up to eight weeks before start, retain £60 cancellation plus non-refundable registration/visa fees. Later cancellation retains the £500 deposit if only that was paid, or one week's fees plus registration if fully paid; no refund for early departure. Visa-refusal clauses conflict and need written clarification.
