What the days look like

The sample day has breakfast around 08:00, morning programme blocks, afternoon activities and evening events, with age-7–9 lights-out at 21:30. Junior Adventure keeps its own programme and joins older groups only on selected occasions. Excursions and activities depend on weather and session.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Campers live at the Swiss Alpine Centre in shared rooms, generally for 3–4 and mostly with en-suite facilities; meals are provided. Younger campers are accompanied on village outings. Geneva transfers are available, but the current supplement was not verified; plan long-haul travel from Tokyo with a clear official handover.

Why it is in this guide

A distinct primary-age residential programme within a long-running international camp operator. The programme explicitly groups young first-time campers, instead of simply admitting them into a teenage itinerary.

Who it may suit

A child aged 7–9 who is ready for two weeks away and enjoys guided outdoor games and sport. Siblings aged 10+ can consider the operator’s separate language, sports or adventure programmes, counted here as one operator.

What to weigh up

The standalone English/French language camps begin at 10. Junior Adventure is not advertised as a beginner English course. Independent current parent evidence for ages 7–9 is sparse, and the two-week residential commitment is substantial.

Operating history and evidence

Repeat operation is supported by official 2025–27 dates and a dated 2025 camp journal. The specific parent account found is agency-hosted: a 30 October 2023 report praised staff, rooms and activities. It has sales-channel bias and lacks a clear age/programme match; provider testimonials and employment reviews should not be treated as additional independent parent endorsements.

Agency-hosted parent account

A parent report praised attentive staff, the child’s room, activities and trip organisation.

Hosted by the agency arranging the trip, with no independently verified programme/age match. The same text appears elsewhere, so it is one account, not multiple corroborating reviews.

Before you book

Confirm language support, sleep-away readiness, room arrangements, required insurance and all transfer charges. Check the latest booking conditions rather than older indexed webpages: the current PDF uses May/June cancellation deadlines, not an older generic 30-day rule.

Cancellation and refunds

The current linked conditions require a CHF1,000 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours and balance by 1 May. Cancellation before 1 May loses the deposit; 1–31 May costs 50% of fees paid; from 1 June and after camp starts, no refund. The PDF has additional force-majeure and programme-change provisions.
